Dear [Name}

At last were ready to officially launch our new website.  Have a look at www.fiferights.org . The new site allows us to communicate more effectively across the sector and has all the information and news advice and rights agencies want.  Our directory www.fiferights.org/directory  (with over 270 fife based advice agencies) has been given a makeover and will soon (by Monday) include a video from each of the services that took part in our video recording project (for an example look at www.fiferights.org/apex ).  The facility to view videos will not be available to staff of Fife Council until your IT policy arrives in the 21st century.

Our comment section can be used by anyone with an interest in the development of advice and rights policies and services.  Our first video comment is from Karen McKay discussing homeless services for working people.  The aim of the comment section is to encourage debate on the issues facing advice services, we need your input to make this a success.  www.fiferights.org/comment  .  We will also be running weekly polls from our front page, this week we're asking you to tell us how good or bad our new site is have a look and vote at www.fiferights.org .  If you have any questions you want us to run as a poll let us know.

One of the questions you might want to ask us is how can a financially straightened organisation like yourself afford such a kick ass site.  The answer is we couldn't, so we used Joomla an open source (Free) content management system.  Joomla allowed us to redevelop our site for next to nothing.  If your thinking about doing your own website and want to talk to us about Joomla, give us a call on the number below.
