Anyone who needs rights advice and information should be sure they
are getting a good service from a competent organisation. Fife Rights
Forum has developed a quality standards system for all organisations
offering rights advice and information. If an organisation meets these
standards, they can use the FifeRights Forum Quality Standard logo.
The standards are designed for both the voluntary and the statutory
sectors. The application process is simple, free and not too time
consuming. We hope that all organisations who offer advice or
information will aim for the quality standard logo.
Each standard contains different levels to aim for and the ability
to work through the levels makes the standards useful to even the
biggest or most quality-minded organisation.
The criteria applied by Fife Rights Forum are in Section 4 The Quality Standards, with explanations and examples.
Fife Rights Forum wants to make applying a positive experience for organisations, and Support for Servicesis available in section 5.
We understand that you may already have other monitoring frameworks to follow. There is no set time of year for applying for Fife Rights Forum Quality Standards logo. If you prefer, you can tie in an application for the logo with your funders' monitoring timetable.
