| The Drug and Alcohol Project Ltd (DAPL) is a community based one to one therapeutic counselling, support, information and advice service for individuals and their families who are affected by substance use in Fife. DAPL offers information and advice, 1:1 counselling, family support, identified focused group work, telephone support and outreach. DAPL's specialist Young Persons team works with young people under the age of 18 who are affected by their own or another's substance use. The team also provides a service for parents/carers who are concerned about the substance use of a young person. | Referrals can be made by the client themself, by telephone, letter or personal visit. Referrals can also be made by any relevant person on behalf of the client, e.g. parent, social worker, teacher etc. |

| DAPL has full disabled access at Levenmouth and can provide translators/interpreters as required.Other arrangements can be made to accomadate disabled users | DAPL works within the BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists) ethical guidelines. DAPL's counselling service is accredited by the BACP.1:1 counselling is open ended. |
