| Shopmobility lends manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters to people with mobility difficulties for use within town centres of Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Dunfermline. With notice, a volunteer can assist with shopping – i.e. to push the wheelchair or be sighted guides in association with Fife Council's Dial a Ride and Ring & Ride services, or independently. Fife Shopmobility also lends manual wheelchairs for longer periods of loan, e.g. recovery from accident / illness and for holidays. Although the services are free of charge, to help with the running costs of the equipment a donation box is available at the three services. It is recommended to book equipment before it is required. | Self referral |
