Momentum works in partnership to enable and empower disabled and excluded people to identify and achieve their goals.
Momentum – Fife deliver work focused programmes including Work Choice and are a service delivery partner within the local Fife Employability Pathway initiative. Our programmes enable disabled and disadvantaged people to access pre employment support/training, progress to work tasters/experience/work trials, then into supported/open employment.
Our service users may have a health condition or disability and interested in exploring/preparing/entering or returning to the world of work.
The Work Choice programme is modular by design.
Module 1: Work Entry Support
Module 2: In-Work Support
Module 3: Longer term In-Work Support
A Job Centre Plus Disability Employment Adviser (DEA) will be able to talk to you about a Work Choice service provider in your area. If you do not have a DEA and want to know more about Work Choice then speak to one of our Work Choice Advisors.
Fife Employability Pathway Initiative
As a delivery partner we will support service users, throughout Fife, on their journey to employment. An action plan is developed based on the requirements of the service user. Pre-employment training, work experience, referral to specialist support services and employer engagement are available to assist service users identify and secure appropriate, sustainable employment. Work Choice: A Job Centre Plus Disability Employment Advisor (DEA) normally makes the referral to the local Work Choice Provider.
Momentum deliver Work Choice in Kirkcaldy(central/east), Glenrothes/Thornton/Leslie/Markinch/Kinglassie, Leven/Kennoway/Buckhaven/Methil/Wemyss Villages, Cupar/Largo and East Neuk.
