| Fife Constabulary recognises that all children and young people have the right to be protected from abuse and exploitation. All allegations will be treated seriously and will be fully investigated after consultation with partner agencies. Specially trained Police Officers will carry out joint investigatioins with social workers into the following: allegations of physical and sexual abuse of children allegations of seriouas criminal neglect of children The Unit also has responsibility for investigating adult disclosures of sexual and physical childhood abuse. We also run the Domestic Abuse service. | Referrals can be made by any agency and self referrals |
