The Chest, Heart and Stroke Welfare Rights Service provides free, independent, impartial and confidential welfare rights advice to individuals in Fife affected by stroke illness. The Welfare Rights Adviser can: • Advise on benefit entitlements, like Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit • Advise on eligibility for tax credits • Advise on making applications to the social fund • Provide help with completing application forms for benefits and tax credits • Deal with letters from the Department for Work and Pensions • Ask for reviews of benefit decisions • Sponsor applications to the Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland Personal Support Grant scheme • Locate and access other charitable grants and loans

| There is no public access at this office. Clients can be seen at an agreed accessible location throughout Fife. | Referrals will usually be dealt with within seven days. Our service is backed by a team of individuals experienced in providing welfare benefits advice, and the resources of Citizens Advice and Rights Fife. |
