This service provides Housing Support to people aged 16 years and over with Mental Health, Learning/ Physical  Disabilities, Elderly, drug and Alcohol Addictions who require short- term Support.

Support ranges from 1-20 hours a week and focuses on the practical issues involved in maintaining a person’s tenancy- assisting them with healthy living plans, budgeting, accessing professionals and exploring a range of community based activities.

The flexibility of fife floating support enables the service to offer a rapid response to people in crisis and provide support when it is most needed.

Service Arrangements

A key worker is allocated to each person and whenever possible these workers remain constant to ensure consistent approach to support.

Support plans are developed that reflect our commitment to person – centre planning and an inclusive approach to housing support. This approach has proven to be very successful and has helped people to move on with their lives without the need for social and health services intervention.

A review of services is conducted every 2 months and collated to give people we support and annual review of their services.
