| We offer a variety of services working with homeless and vulnerable people to enable them to live independently. Our projects include - A 10 bed Hostel in Glenrothes for homeless young women;12 supported Scatter Flats in Glenrothes. We also provide Visiting Support for people (16-65 Male and Female) in their own homes, living in the Glenorothes area, to enable them to maintain and sustain their tenancy. We work together with statutory and voluntary agencies to provide a Fife wide employability service providing support to homeless people to help develop skills and experience identifying opportunities to move them towards education, training and employment. The Project is part of Scottish Christian Alliance Ltd (SCA) which was formed in 1993 and registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 and is also a Scottish charity – SCO21765. Scottish Christian Alliance Ltd is governed by a Management Committee which is elected by the shareholders at our Annual General Meeting. | Referrals for accommodation can only be accepted from Fife Council Housing Service. People requiring visiting support can self refer or refer through another support agency. Clients referred for employability advice must be homeless or at risk of homelessness.
From 1st September 2010 all referrals for short-term housing support should be made via FORT to the Advice and Specific Needs Team (Supporting People). Make A Referral |
