Are there different levels of award?
The Fife Rights Forum Quality Standards have three levels of award. With the exception of the standard on the Protection of Children and/or Vulnerable Adults, an organisation must meet the level of award they are seeking for each standard in order to achieve an overall FRF Quality Standards award at that level.
Given the importance of Child and Vulnerable Adult protection, to achieve an overall Level Two or Three award all services must reach Level One in the Protection of Children and/or Vulnerable Adults Standard. Services whose primary focus of work involves children, young people and/or vulnerable adults will be required to reach at least Level Two.
If an agency fails to meet the required level for any of the other standards, the award will be made at the lowest level achieved.
Level One - The agency has a solid foundation in place to build and improve upon. Level Two - The agency has a more comprehensive approach to developing the service that is evidenced by widespread knowledge and clear planning and implementation. Level Three - The agency will have a structured review process that clearly contributes to continuous improvement.
