Fife Volunteer Treasurer


Fife Rape & Sexual Assault Centre is currently seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors.  There is a need for a Treasurer to begin as soon as possible.

Fife Rape & Sexual Assault Centre is based in Kirkcaldy but covers the whole of Fife. FRASAC is an independent voluntary organisation which offers a range of free and confidential support services to anyone, male or female, who has been raped or sexually assaulted at some point in their lives.

 

 

The overall role of the Treasurer is to maintain an overview of FRASAC's affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. Our accounts are currently completed using the SAGE software package.

 

Board Meetings occur on a Tuesday evening from 6-8pm every 6 weeks

Full Time Marketing Co-ordinator - FEAT

 

Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT)

 

FEAT delivers individualised employment advice, support, training and assistance to people who have experience of mental health problems. We also work closely with employers to increase workplace support and opportunities for people with mental health problems.

 

They are currently seeking to employ a:

 

Full Time Marketing Co-ordinator
35 hours per week - £23,200 per annum plus contributory pension
Fixed term to 30 April 2012, continuation after this subject to funding

 

The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing programme for all FEAT services. In addition they will work with other FEAT staff to promote and deliver work based mental health awareness training as well as liaising with employers and training providers to provide work placements. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, an articulate negotiator and have a good understanding of the issues faced by people with mental health problems who are seeking work. Candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced check from disclosure Scotland.

Support Assistant - The Richmond Fellowship Scotland


SUPPORT ASSISTANT - Night Shift (20 hrs per week) (REF FIFE/031)

Salary: £13,507 (fulltime) per annum pro rata

 

The successful candidate will provide night shift cover in partnership with a team providing support to a young man in his own home. This will involve supporting in areas such as his personal care and welfare overnight.

It is desirable that you will have had experience in working with people who can present with challenging behaviour, and you must be able to undertake CALM intervention training.

A qualification in care is desirable, but not essential, as professional development to SVQ 2&3 is available.

Full induction and training will be provided in addition to generous annual leave, pension scheme and ongoing support and development opportunities.
