| The speaker will be Mr Gavin Smith, Fife Housing
Service, on Access to Housing - launch of a pilot Standard Specialist Assessment
to replace the Illness and Disability form. Places at the AGM are unfortunately
now closed (full) due to the high level of interest. However, Fife Council
Housing Services will be around after the AGM and available for consultation on
this. An Open Housing Event is being held on the same day, after the AGM, from
1pm - 4pm and is open to the public. There will be information tables from many
housing associations who hold stock in Fife, along with Care and Repair, Fife
Federation of Tenants Rights Association, Shelter Scotland, Communities Scotland
and more. Information will be available on housing for rent, amenity style and
sheltered housing and the new shared equity scheme Homestake. Anyone who works
with those for whom housing is an issue is welcome to come along and find out
more.
